The museum, from your classroom

Can't host the trailer this term? Take the same five exhibit rooms virtually — with the classroom material teachers need before, during and after launch.

What you get

  • Cheat Sheet for Virtual Tour. A printable one-pager teachers can hand out before launch so students know what to look for.
  • Multiple Choice Quizzes. Check comprehension after each room with quizzes built around the on-screen exhibits.
  • Certificate of Astronaut Training. Every student finishes the tour with a personalised certificate to take home.

How it works

  1. Book your tour. Pick a classroom or a whole grade level, then contact us to book.
  2. Prep the crew. Print the cheat sheet so students know which exhibits to look for before launch.
  3. Explore all five rooms. Move through the museum at your own pace, on any classroom display or Chromebook.
  4. Check for understanding. Run the multiple choice quizzes, then hand out Certificates of Astronaut Training.

All five exhibits

  • Earth's Place in Space. Where we sit in the Solar System — and why it matters.
  • Gravity Matters. Mass, space and the force that pulls it all together.
  • Beyond the Outer Reaches. Hands-on with the telescopes that see the unreachable.
  • Planetarium. A full planetarium — inside the mobile unit.
  • Missions, Astronauts and Careers. Not all heroes wear capes; some wear space suits.

See the rooms in detail on the curriculum page.
